Actry Tips and Tricks
Power-user techniques in Actry - keyboard shortcuts, voice presets, scene loops, and rating analytics.
Published December 28, 2025
Actry has a few quiet features that change how working actors use it.
New users miss the features that compound. Here are the ones working actors find first.
The work, step by step
- Voice presets. Save voice settings as a preset. Re-apply across scripts.
- Loop a beat. Mark a beat range and loop until it lives in your body.
- Pace-A/B. Run the same scene at two paces back-to-back. The right rhythm reveals itself.
- Rating analytics. Per-line, per-scene, per-script. Find your weak lines and drill.
- Multi-language drill. Run the same scene in two languages for bilingual roles.
Common pitfalls
- Treating it as a player, not a workshop.
- Ignoring the rating analytics.
- Skipping voice presets for repeating projects.
