About the app

What is Actry?

Actry is an AI-powered acting coach app for iOS and Android. It reads scene partners aloud while you perform, then gives you a 1–10 rating and specific feedback on every line you deliver.

How does the AI scene partner work?

You add a script (PDF or text), pick a scene, and choose your character. Actry plays every other character using natural-sounding text-to-speech voices you can customize per role. Speech recognition detects when you finish each line, so the next cue arrives without delay.

Is Actry free?

Yes - free users get 50 voice-analysis credits, one script, and full access to the first scene of any script. Premium unlocks unlimited scripts and scenes, self-tape recording, and higher daily limits.

Can I use Actry to record self-tapes?

Yes. Premium includes self-tape mode: the AI reads opposite while your phone camera records you performing the full scene. You can save, replay, and share the take.

What languages does Actry support?

Actry supports 12+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic, with localized TTS voices for each.

Will Actry replace a real acting coach?

No coach app replaces a great human teacher. But Actry gives you something a coach cannot - unlimited reps. Use it for memorization, scene drilling, audition prep, and self-tape practice between human coaching sessions.

Does Actry work offline?

Recorded takes and saved feedback are available offline. Voice analysis and TTS need an internet connection because they’re computed in the cloud.

Is my script data private?

Scripts live on your device by default. Voice clips are sent securely for analysis and not retained beyond what’s needed to score your delivery.

Still wondering if Actry fits your workflow?

Try it free. 50 voice-analysis credits get you through a full audition prep cycle.
